The National Symposium on Vulture Conservation 2024 was held on September 29, 2024, at the Ahmedabad Management Association (AMA) in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The symposium was organized by the Bird Conservation Society Gujarat which addressed critical issues on vulture conservation in India. The participants got the opportunity to witness presentations on vulture conservation from renowned vulture experts from India and Nepal. The one day session concluded with brief discussions on conservation efforts, NSAID’s drugs and threat to vultures, the challenges in creating safe zones for vultures, and the latest research in the field.
