  • One Day Seminar on “Importance of Trees in Conservation of Avian Diversity (ITCAD-2009)” at Vadodara on 13th September 2009 in collaboration with the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, Vadodara.
  • A National Seminar on “Conservation of Biodiversity and Ecosystem of Coastal Region: In the Context of Coastal Birds” at Bhavnagar on 8th – 9th January, 2011 in collaboration with, Bhavnagar University, Bhavnagar.
  • A National Seminar on “Birds of Gujarat: Present Status & Future Scenario” at Navsari on January 22, 2012 in collaboration with Navsari Agricultural University.
  • National Seminar on “Bird Habitats & Their Conservation” at Patan on 16th February 2013 in collaboration with HNG University, Patan.
  • A Workshop on “RTI as a Tool in Wildlife Conservation’ on 23rd August 2009 at Ahmedabad in collaboration with the ‘Centre for Ecological Action Front (CEAF)’, Ahmedabad
  • A State level workshop “To Shape the Youth to Lead the society for Protection of Birds and their Environment” at Bhavnagar on 8th to 10th February 2013 in Collaboration with MK Bhavnagar University.
  • A Workshop on “Nature and Wildlife Photography” at Zainabad, Little Rann of Kachchh on 16.10.2010 & 17.10.2010
  • A two day’s Workshop on ‘Bird-call Recording’ was jointly organized with Nature Club, Surat at Vansda National Park on 11th & 12th April 2009.
  • For several years we supported the “HSBC Amdavad BirdRace”.
  • Frequently we support state forest department in their annual Harrier Census at Velavadar Black-buck National Park.
  • “Sarus and Heronry Watch” is a regular annual programme on Matar-Tarapur track during August every year.
  • A programme on ‘Pitta –watch in Eastern Gir’ on 5th Juue 2010.
  • Members of BCSG at Bharuch help GNFC in their waterbird census and Science Fair since 2010.
  • Porbandar Bird Sanctuary and other important wetlands around Porbandar during 12-13 Dec 2009
  • A programme on ‘Heronry Appreciation’ at Kankaria Zoo, Ahmedabad in collaboration with Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation, Kankaria Zoo & Bird Conservation Society, Gujarat (BCSG) was organized on 21st August 2005 and 02.09.12.
  • Coastal Trekking at Bhavnagar in collaboration with Dharmakumarsinhji Nature Conservation Society, Bhavnagar during 14-15 Nov 2009 and at Madhavpur in Collaboration with Sky Forest Youth Club during 10-11 Dec 2011.
  • Wetland Awareness programme at Pariej during 22-23 Dec 2012.
  • A training workshop on ‘Bird Rescue and Field Ornithology’ at Dahod during 02-03 Jan 2010.
  • A training program on “Scientific Approach to Bird Watching with Special emphasis on monitoring bird population” at Shoolpaneshwar Wildlife Sanctuary, Rajpipla in collaboration with Gujarat Forest Department.

  • JCT-BCSG Capacity building seminar/traning on Handling Avian Emergencies during MakarSakranti- Kite Flying festival on 27th December, Ahmedabad
  • “Birding in LRK”, 23-24 Jan 2016 at Wild Ass Sanctuary.
  • Program on Bird count at Jessore Sloth bear sanctuary on 12-13 March 2016.
  • Alang-Sidhanath-Jhanjhmer-Gopnath coastal trek birding in collaboration with
    Dharmakumarsinhji Nature Club and Youth Hostel-Bhavnagar unit. It was co-ordinated by Dr. IndraGadhvi. (11-12 November 2017).
  • Dahod Wetland Birding (Dahod) managedby PrakrutiMitraMandal, Dahod(27-28 January 2018). In that programme, more than 180 Red-crested Pochards were sighted by participants.
  • ‘Inculcating Scientific Approach to Bird-watching’, Kevdi Eco-tourim site in collaboration with Nature Club Surat, managed by ShriSnehal Patel and mentors were ShriUdayVora and PranavTrivedi(24-25 February 2018).
  • ‘Egyptian Vulture local population estimation’, Banaskantha district in collaboration with Aravalli Adventure, Palanpur, managed by Suresh Prajapati, Kailash Jani, Anuj Raina, Prashant Shah and Pankaj Maheria. (10-11 March 2018).
  • ‘Wader-Watch’ at Jamnagar managed by Kunal Joshi. (24-25 March 2018).
